Estos dos libros, Por qué Dios me hizo niña? y Por qué Dios me hizo niño?, fueron escritos por Joe Owen del ministerio apologético Respuestas en Génesis, junto a su hija Abby Owen, con el fin de apoyar a los papás y mamás, no solo a contrarrestar el bombardeo de la ideología de género a su hogar, sino también a enseñar a los niños cómo Dios se quiere glorificar en su respectiva hombría o feminidad. Estos libros presentan el mensaje de la redención de Cristo y de cómo solo en Él y por Él, podemos vivir los aspectos estructurales y funcionales de la imagen de Dios en nosotros para la gloria de Dios en Cristo.

These two books, Why Did God Make Me a Girl? and Why Did God Make Me a Boy? were written by Joe Owen of Answers in Genesis apologetics ministry, along with his daughter Abby Owen, in order to support moms and dads in not only countering the bombardment of gender ideology into their home, but also to teach children how God wants to glorify Himself in their respective manhood or womanhood. Since none of us have lived by it, these books also present the message of Christ's redemption and how only in Him and through Him we can live in the structural and functional aspects of God's image in us for the glory of God in Christ.
