Music therapy and music therapy are, first and foremost, music. All of the applied meanings and forms that serve to designate this amazing phenomenon - music therapy, music medicine, and their active and receptive arrangements - are invariably based on touching, relating, perceiving, listening to, and "hearing" musical sound. The book presents a brief review of the literature on the formation and development of music therapy as a profession and field of scientific knowledge, selected theoretical aspects of the discipline, including questions of the psychology of music and its therapeutic understanding, and selected practical models of music therapy and music in medicine.
