In this research project, we tried to determine the factors which have negative impact on academic performance of the students of the University of Dhaka in order to improve the academic performance of all students by recommending appropriate interventions to the University authority.Many factors mentioned are supposed to have negative impact on the academic performance of the students.The findings of the study will help the university authority to take proper steps to improve students' performance.It is expected that the implementation of recommendation given from study will decrease the number of drop out students from the university and the number of students taking readmission in the same year and helps the students to increase their GPA.
