PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description
Aluminum is considered as one of the most important metals for its countless applications in the real life. Even though, pure Aluminum has undesirable properties such as its ductility, high wear rate and poor hardness. These properties could be improved by the addition of alloying elements to pure Aluminum or even by adding some modifying elements to its alloys. As most studies on this field, our project was held in order to study Al-Si alloys properties and the effect of adding some modifying elements to the alloys in order to attain new materials with more desirable properties.
