This is the publication of German excavations of a Middle Bronze Age shaft grave at Kolona, Aegina. The body of a man was found in the centre of the tomb together with a bronze sword, daggers, arrowheads and gold ornaments. Also found were the remains of a boar's tusk helmet. Fragments of Middle Minoan, Cycladic and Kamares ware reflect the widespread links between Aegina and other areas. Distribution maps for each class of artefact and a comparative treatment of the grave's architecture place the site in its wider context. An appendix provides a study of the skeleton.
