Micro and nano optics over hybrid optical probes

AUTHOR Kim Jun Ki
PUBLISHER LAP Lambert Academic Publishing (11/09/2015)
PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description
This book describes an investigation of micro and nano optic beam shaping as integrated devices between micro optics and fiber optics. Various devices using organic-inorganic hybrid structure were developed and characterized. 1) The novel hybrid fiber type collimator has been researched. 2) Efficient and economic VCSEL to GI MMF coupling using polymer lens has been investigated. 3) HPCF-PON based on the HPCF coupler has been demonstrated. 4) Beam shaping and diffraction technologies based on the azo-polymer are also analyzed. 5) The all-fiber zone plate lens has been demonstrated by inscribing the pattern on the optical fiber end faces using femtosecond laser.
