Leisure Arts is pleased to introduce the first book of quilting designs by Kristine Poor, a mechanical engineer who opened Poorhouse Quilt Designs in 2006 after becoming enchanted by the variety of fabrics and specialty threads available for quilting and sewing. Just as her engineering work had included writing instructions for how items would be put together, her quilting design work now results in truly useful bags and totes that pack plenty of personality.
