Editor: Kimble, John
John Kimble has 25 years of basketball coaching experience. Most recently, he served as the head basketball coach at Crestview High School (FL) for 10 years. During Kimble's tenure, the team averages almost 18 wins each season (excluding his first year at the helm). Kimble began his basketball coaching career as an assistant coach at Lexington High School (IL), where he amassed an overall 61-6 record. The varsity team won the conference, regional, sectional, and super-sectional state tournament championships. The following year he took the head coaching position at Deland-Weldon High School (IL) where the varsity accumulated a five-year record of 91-43. He then moved to Florida and worked at the community college level before moving to Crestview High School.
