Brian and Jennie Williamson, Founders of AriSon Records - Inviting you to come and know the comfort of the presence of God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 The God of All Comfort Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. Brian and Jennie understand emotional stress, because they have lived it. With selling over 600,000 CDs, it is estimated that they have touched the lives of over 1.5 million people. July 7, 1998 6:25pm A severe thunderstorm hits St. Croix County, WI. Brian s wife Tatia happened to be driving on a two-lane highway in the storm. A car suddenly brakes in front of her and Tatia s car hydroplanes sideways into oncoming traffic and was hit by an SUV traveling 55 mph. Tatia died instantly. Police would later find Brian at his office and notify him of this horrific accident. Brian s life would forever be changed. Brian s last words to Tatia before the accident... I Love You. Jennie, the daughter of a Baptist music minister, grew up on the front row of the church. She too faced adversity early in her life. Tragically, the summer after her freshman year of college, a close friend she had dated was killed in a car accident. A few years later, she would marry a preacher s son and she thought a Christian marriage would come naturally. Upon self- reflection, she now shares, I tried running the show in my personal life and it wasn t working. God was not the center of my life and God was not the center of my marriage. Jennie s first words to God after her divorce... I need you. I love you. Brian and Jennie knew each other before these tragic events. In the midst of healing, their friendship grew stronger. They each found God s comfort following these difficult times and now God was bringing them together to share that comfort with others. On July 1, 2000, Brian and Jennie Williamson were united in marriage on a beautiful sunny day in Nashville, TN. From that moment on, Brian and Jennie prepared for the plan they knew God was about to unveil in their lives. Since that significant day in Nashville, they try not to take life for granted, knowing that life can change in a split second. With God as the center of their lives, they live each day as if it were the last, treasuring a hug, a smile and an I Love You . God has blessed them with two beautiful daughters, Emma Lou and Eva Jane, who are the joys of their life. However, grief struck the family once again when Jennie had a miscarriage in July 2008. The outpouring of love and comfort that surrounded them, was a reminder of the scripture from 2nd Corinthians 1. That scripture was planted in their hearts on July 1, 2000 and once again in July 2008. While words and text are good for the cognitive part of our brain, the soul is sometimes left untouched. So many people hear the words but the words may still not penetrate. Music has a unique way of touching the soul. Music brings peace, it brings comfort. Comfort isn t just for those grieving a loss. Comfort may be for a child to reassure them they are on the right path. Comfort may be for a mother who feels stressed and alone with a hectic schedule. Comfort may be for an overworked father who has a difficult time balancing priorities at work with the responsibility of being a father and a husband. Brian and Jennie created AriSon Records to give each listener the opportunity to come and know the comfort of the presence of God.
