The field of air transport has seen revolutionary developments during the last 6 decades. The economic and industrial boom after the World War II especially contributed a great deal in bringing the world closer than ever. The epochs that have erected the current sophisticated version of transport have seen many drastic and dramatic events. The unprecedented development has consequently brought many requirements for fulfilling the need of air travel. The aim of this book is to propose a design of a runway of international capacity for a city. As the development of such facility will not only open doors for employment but will also contribute in enhancing the overall trade, travel and tourism activities. The runway may also contribute in enriching the strategic capability as the current facility is frequently utilized by the armed forces for various operations.
