Tom isn't looking forward to hockey camp because his friends aren't going with him. But soon he is enjoying the new coach and the hockey drills, and even making a new friend. At the end of the camp, Tom invites Harty to his house for more practice. The next day, when he spots a way to improve Harty's slapshot, Tom e-mails him with a suggestion.Five months later, the two boys are surprised to find themselves playing opposite each other in a hockey tournament.
